The collection

Sets made for a night like this

We built this collection with easier designs, larger color areas and fewer tiny details, so everyone at the table actually finishes their painting in one cozy evening.

Why it feels so good

Why a night of painting feels this good

Paint by numbers is not really about the painting. It is about what happens at the table while you do it.

A painter filling in a lemon blossom canvas, spritz and candle beside her

Your mind goes quiet

You only ever look at one small area and one number. The thinking is done for you, so the noise in your head settles within minutes.

Two friends painting orange canvases at one table, no phones in sight

A whole evening without screens

Phones end up face down on the table. Nobody misses them, because your hands are busy and your friends are right there.

A finished peach canvas held up over the table

You actually finish something

A mini canvas is 6 by 8 inch. Most people finish one in a single evening and go home with something real in their hands.

Two orange canvases half painted next to a spritz

It looks good before it is done

Big color areas mean the canvas looks like a painting after twenty minutes, not a puzzle. Nobody at the table feels behind.

The checklist

The 4 things you need for the perfect sip and paint night

That is honestly the whole list. No easels, no art degree, no paint on the carpet.

Three friends raising spritz glasses over their lemon canvases

Your people

Three to five is the sweet spot. Enough for a proper table, few enough that everyone gets a word in. Your sister, the group chat, your mom, the friend you keep meaning to see.

Three spritz glasses clinking above the paint table

Something to sip

An Aperol spritz, a bottle of red, or hot chocolate with a splash of something for the cold nights. Pour before the paint comes out and top up between colors.

Bites to share

Keep it simple: a cheese board, olives, grapes, something sweet. Anything you can eat with one hand, because the other one is holding a brush.

How the night runs

From first pour to final reveal

Every group does it a little differently. This is how most nights go.

7:00

Pour and unbox

Glasses filled, paint pots on the table, and everyone picks a canvas from the set. Six designs, so nobody paints the same one.

7:20

The quiet twenty minutes

Everyone finds their first colors and the room goes surprisingly silent. This is the part people mention afterwards.

8:00

Colors get swapped, stories get told

Someone needs the yellow, someone brings up a story from years ago. Painting and talking happen at the same time.

9:15

Second glass, last details

The small numbers, the edges, the "does this look right" moments. It always looks right from two steps back.

9:45

The reveal

Six finished minis on one table. Photos get taken. Somebody asks when the next one is.

Made for the cozy, cold months

Cold outside. Warm at the table.

When it gets cold, nobody wants to go out. This is the night in that beats going out: candles, a table full of color, and friends who stay until the last painting is done.

  • About three hours. Long enough to feel like a night out, short enough for a Tuesday.
  • Nothing to set up, nothing to scrub. Acrylic paint, small pots, a table cloth if you are careful.
  • Also the easiest gift of the season. One set, six people happy, and the frames go straight on the wall.

Had a great evening with the girls having a few drinks and painting, we were so impressed and had the best time painting these.

I bought this as an activity for a friends reunion. We absolutely loved it. Something creative we could do together, take our time over and continue to chat. Several of us have since bought our own kits we loved it that much.

This was a great “paint & pour” activity for a girls' night in. The size of the canvas and relative simplicity of the design made it possible to complete in an evening. Such a cute collection of canvases!

How long does one mini take?

Most people finish a 6 by 8 inch mini in two to three hours, so one evening. The larger color areas in this collection are what make that possible.

Do we need any painting experience?

No. Every area has a number and every number has a paint pot. If you can color inside a line, you can do this. About half of our painters had never painted before their first kit.

What comes in the box?

Six numbered mini canvases, all the acrylic paint you need in labeled pots, brushes and a guide. The framed version arrives stretched on a wooden frame, ready to hang the same night.

Framed or no frame?

No frame is the standard mini canvas, from $34.95 per set. Framed is $44.95 and saves you the trip to the frame shop. Both are the same painting.

How many people can paint from one set?

Six canvases, so up to six painters. For a bigger group, order two different sets and let everyone choose.

What about shipping and returns?

Shipping is free on every order and you have 30 days to return. Delivery times for your country are on our shipping page.
