hard to paint with no frame. no numbers stickers on the plants you have to match them to the guides and put them on yourself. a lot of the numbers were tiny so painting got messy. good brushes

I tried to cancel and reorder with frames but was not able to do this so a bit disappointed from the start. Some of the artwork does not match up with what is shown n the DIY kit. Not enough of the small brushes.

It’s fun but tedious. Trying to paint backdrop around everything and trying to cover numbers. I’d pay extra for the frames next time. But it does take longer than you’d think to paint, but glad I purchased them.

I absolutely love my purchase and would thoroughly recommend DIY Art! The quality is great and the little pots of paints are very cute and very vibrant colours. A little goes a long way. Love all the brushes and the plastic case that comes with it. I haven't quite finished my first canvas yet, but I am getting there. I bought these mini paint by number for my daughter’s bridal shower as one of the activities: Paint & Sip. Once the shower was over, my mom, my sister, sister in law, my daughter and her two bridesmaids remained. The girls decided to start painting and it was the most amazing sight to watch. It was a quiet, focused, therapeutic moment. Reminds me of circle of women working on a quilt together. It was amazing to watch my daughter surrounded by all the important women in her life talking and working so intently on their individual paintings. It was an wonderful sight to see. Love it - would have given 5 stars but the numbers and sections are WAY WAY too tiny. Make the templates simpler so the sections can be larger. It also takes way too long to finish because it is so detailed. Only 2 out of 6 people finished in an evening.

I ordered these for an activity to complete during Spring Break from school. I finished 4 and almost finished with the 5th. They really do put you in a "calm place" where you aren't anxious or breathing too fast. I was unable to watch TV while painting because you do need to concentrate, but I listened to music.
The kit does come complete and with 3 sets of brushes. I ordered an additional set thinking they would be better , but it was unnecessary i also ordered a mini easel, but I only use it for display while the piece is drying. I prefer painting with the canvas flat so I can rotate it to get the best direction of my brush. There is plenty of paint. I plan to order the acrylic paint pot holder. The only negative is some of the number show through up close if the paint is light
I bought an acrylic white pen which helped somewhat and I painted over the numbers let it dry and then the next day painted that section. Of course that only works for big sections where you can leave 1 number so you know the color.
I throughly enjoyed the kit and plan to order another one,, I just haven't decided on which one.

I expected these to be kind of cheap but the brushes are actually excellent and the amount of paint is perfect - if anything I have extra. The paint itself is of decent quality, and honestly worth its weight in gold because it's literally priceless that I don't have to mix it myself and it already comes in containers that will keep it from drying out. I usually don't need more than one or two coats for the darker colors, although the lighter ones are a bit thin and can require several. Overall I really like these, but I will say the designs are hit or miss - use your best judgement on whether to change paints or just keep it the same color, because a lot of the times changing paint is pointless for the extremely small sections.

I ordered these after I read there were painting parties using the canvasses. I had a party but was disappointed there were not paint brush sets for each canvas. This is a miss and if there are 12 canvasses there should be 12 sets of brushes. I really like the kits outside of the lack of brushes.

I had so much fun doing these! The paint was good quality and I liked that the canvas sections were colored similar to the pant used. The brushes weren’t the best, so I used my own for the tiny detail work. My main complaint is I had some difficulty covering the blue numbers on the canvas.
