The numbers showed through a lot :/ I tried gesso and white paint before I painted the lighter colors and the numbers still showed through. From a distance the painting looks great. Up close, it’s much rougher. One of my brushes was broken when I took it out of the package. I really liked the process of painting (I have two more horses to go but I’ve got them under books to flatten them out) but I wish the paint itself was thicker and the brushes were a bit better quality.
These pictures are lovely! They are quite fiddly with some small areas to paint, but well worth the effort 🦄 Supplied with lots of paint and brushes, a great product to give you some mindfulness time! 🎨

Exceeded my expectations
I have painted three out of the six horses and they have turned out great. Colors are perfect and blend well together. I have found the lighter colors need a second or third coat but easy to touch up. Found 6x8 frames at Michael’s and the canvases fit nicely. Looking forward to painting the other three horses. Very relaxing and nice product to show.

Lovely kit with everything you need to make good quality pictures. Would probably go for the framed option.
These are perfect to start you on your journey of painting by numbers, as your not overwhelmed by the size of each piece. This is my first time since i was a kid, 30 years ago. I loved it then too. The negatives: some of the painting and numbers is tiny! Even with a magnifying glass, I struggle to see tiny areas and also with painting the tiny areas accurately. The only other issue is my clumsy hands dropped a paint pot and tipped most of the colour so im one less to finish a large area 😩
I am the leader of a 4-H arts & crafts club. I ordered this to give one to each of our 6 members. Since I am passing the kit around to each member this summer, I wish each canvas would have a list of the paints used in that project.
I'm still working on my first painting, but so far I love it! It's nice they give you some brushes and they're perfect for little details like the hair. With the shipping I was notified my package was delayed and they were looking into the reason why. I didn't even notice the package was delayed so it was nice the company had reached out to me and even notified me when the issue was resolved. I'll definitely be ordering from this business agian and I'm already excited to pick out my next paint by number set!
Really like the way the paint goes on the canvas. I do wish the lighter colors covered better. I sometimes have to go over 2 or 3 times so the number doesn’t show through.
Lovely little kit . I purchased this for a fundraiser gift basket. I'm sure the recipient will love it. It contains the canvases, brushes and paint for a fun project. Everything looks of good quality and was delivered on time.

It's one of those things you don't realize you need until you try it.
I don't have a lot of energy for complicated stuff these days, and this was easy.
It felt thoughtfully put together.
