I enjoyed doing this painting. I particularly like the whimsical subject which evokes so many memories I have from my past. Also the colour scheme was a good mix. Keeping the background looking like a rainy day but not depressing. The ladies really came to the fore with their striking colours. I found this painting quite interesting and also you have the scope to add your own little touches that enhance it.
My first attempt and not sure I used enough paint on the brush in places! Not finished yet and will go over lots of bits. Very enjoyable!
Work in progress! But really enjoying it. I was worried reading some reviews, but the kit turned up very quickly, the brushes are fine (not the best quality but very useable and I bought my own set of brushes too) and the paints are great. I’m halfway through now and it takes my mind off the stresses of the day.
I didn’t think I would enjoy this . I have a low boredom threshold! I find is so therapeutic and easy to follow . I am keeping a log of how much time I spend on it . So far 17 hours . Its for a friends birthday.

I am in the process of working on this painting, but the concentration and the eyestrain needed only allows me about 90 minutes each time I paint, so it is in steps and each number that I work on it and currently I have done about 30%.
I am enjoying the paint by number, however, I did send a message stating the brush I got was losing its bristles and requested a new one, but did not hear from you. Thank you,
Bought for a friend who is retiring. The kit looks good quality and has everything in it that you need to complete the painting. Hadn’t realised it comes from China or that it can take a few weeks to arrive (so advise you plan for that if ordering for a particular occasion) luckily I’d ordered it in time.
Haven’t finished yet. Am loving watching it unfold!!! Some of the tiny areas play havoc with my eyesight ….. but, nothing that a magnifying glass can’t fix!! Great, happy pic 🥰
I'm thoroughly enjoying painting my picture. It's not finished yet...takes a while and it's quite intricate and also it's a big size. Would buy another one though at some point.
It is easy to understand and the numbers are clear on the pots of paint and canvas. I need some practice but it's definitely something that relaxes you and helps you switch off.
I'm having so much fun with this painting "Happy Retirees"! My best friend of over 40 years and I (two retired ladies who would absolutely be out playing in the rain together) are each doing this same painting. When we're done we will give our artwork to the other. I'm excited to see how they are alike and how they differ from each other. I've been working on it about an hour a day with some days off, too. That time is so lovely to have to be creative, to think, to pray, and to develop tricks and use tips as I work on the painting. It is a challenge, and I have questions on how to best blend the sharp edges between colors, but that has caused me to meet and have some conversations with some artistic people to get their advice. The whole process is going to take quite some time to complete, but I'm not in a rush. All in all, it is a wonderful experience .
