I love this method of painting. I enjoyed my time and calmness of my mind while doing the cute adorable dogs. Self care with music while cooking, lit a candle and dive into the art.

i absolutely love it the only recommendation i would make is to make the lighter colours my pigmented as sometimes i can see the numbers underneath the paint even after a few coats of paint

I was a bit nervous at the beginning on how it will turn out but at the end was a rewarding experience. My advice do it on the day time, start with the smalls pieces and take your time, don't rush the process

I LOVED this product even though it is not perfect. First, the brushes are shitty, that is true. The light colors will require a second layer to cover the numbers, and some areas are so small, I won’t be able to see what is the number… I’ll figure out something in the end.
It looks good from a distance - AI was put to good use for their ads.
Also, they are ALWAYS on sale at 50% - don’t let yourself be pressured into buying.
All that being said… I simply love that. I pour myself a glass of wine, put on a true crime documentary for background and I paint the night away! There is someone who said hers was done in one evening - not so for me. I am several evenings in, as I have to take a few days break to let my neck recover from time to time.
I definitely plan on buying more!

My first paint by number. And now I’m hooked. DIY’s choices are great, there was plenty of paint and the canvas, frame, and reference sheet were all great. I’ve since tried a competitor that was rated higher, but I found them not as good as DIY. My only suggestion is make the lines and numbers fainter or the paint thick enough to cover them. With lighter colors I had to do several coats to cover numbers and this made the paint overworked. Also, pots that have lids on a hinge would be better and something to keep pots held in number order.

Loved doing the painting. Struggled a bit with my eyesight with some of the numbers. Has taken me 4 days (6 hours) to paint almost finished. The colours were not exactly the same as the photographs. A good way to practice mindfulness.

. The paintbrushes aren't good quality unfortunately, they splay and have some longer bristles that I had to trim
. The numbers printed onto the canvas are tiny and are difficult to see, especially on a large canvas.
. Some pots of paint are difficult to open which can hurt fingers
I bought this as I wanted an easy project which would keep me absorbed, which it did.
I'm glad I bought it as a birthday treat for myself but I would hesitate to pay that much again soon.

The 'frame' is actually the canvas stretcher. Without it, its just a rolled up canvas, very awkward to try and paint.
Hence mines still in the package as its useless without the stretcher.

Fun painting to do and looks great! I wish I got the frame with it. Canvas and paints are good quality. One of the paint brushes broke so I used my own brushes. I just wish the font for the numbers was a bit lighter in colour since you could still see some of the numbers under the lighter paint colours. But overall great and I have another painting im looking forward to doing

I’m still completing the painting. Lessons so far: set up for the long haul. I have clamped it to a little camping table so I can move it around the house. I’m pleased there is a second sheet with numbers as once you’ve started you realise how tiny some of the spaces are. I’m trusting the process.

Ordered two paint by numbers but received the wrong ones. Contacted customer services and the correct ones were dispatched. Unfortunately they came in the same box and I wanted them boxed as they were gifts. I was then told they came as shown on the website. I checked…both shown boxed. Sent a picture but refused to send a box. Can’t fault item but docked a star due to no box.

Waited a while for delivery however I’ve not stopped enjoying the painting experience, it gives me so much joy, I can spend hours without noticing.
I have noticed that some of the colour tones are a bit off, but this is no biggy, it doesn’t take away from the peace of mind it brings.
I have 2 more already waiting when I’ve finished this one. Just need to figure out how to frame next.

The kit arrived in good time and had plenty of correspondence on its journey. Everything intact and picture looks good with the numbers easy to see, unlike the last kit I got which needed a magnifying glass ( this was another company) I haven't started the painting yet but impressed so far. This is my first kit from this company. The paint is thick and vibrant but the brushes are cheap with stray bristles so I had to purchase separate better brushes. A minor criticism.
