This was such a great family holiday activity… cocktails, music and painting. We had so much fun and it was so relaxing. The paint and brushes were great and the numbers made it super easy to follow. The end result was great. I ended up buying easels but you don’t really need them for the smaller canvases, it was actually easier without them. I was looking for a paint-by-numbers that would bring me to Italy, as I wasn't able to travel there at the moment. I found it here. I've not only been transported, but I also enjoyed feeling grounded, centered, relaxed, and focused. It gave me that "dolce far niente" feeling (even though I was doing something, but you get it :)). I do wish they had a beginner's kit because this one is a bit challenging with very small areas to colour.

I bought the DIY art kit without the frames not knowing that they would retail for $40 a piece . I love the canvas paint by numbers but even on the Autumn sale- $20 a piece for a 6 x 8 stretch frame is a lot.

Just a FYI to everyone. Make sure you double check the size that you are ordering. I didn’t and its totally my fault but i was under the impression that i could return or exchange. To my disappointment they are a foreign company and you are financially responsible to return or exchange your product. So you pay to get it and return it. It will cost more to shop it back than what it is worth.

I’m still working on my 3rd. I’m no artist, and certainly not as wonderful as the artist in your commercials!
The paint/by/numbers have been fun and relaxing! I noticed the designs with words can be more complicated to paint and difficult to determine the lines and colors. A paint pen may have been smarter for me to use.
It would be helpful to have a “key” so once a first coat is on and it’s clear the painting needs a 2nd or 3rd coat, you know where the lines are and which colors to add and what it should look like. The mats are excellent quality.

I like the quality of the canvas prints. The paint is a little awkward to use. My last experience with paint by numbers were probably oil based paints that were mixed and ready to go. But for the price, the water color resins are fine.
