Have not started this one however I just finished another one
Just started this week, weathers so nice it hasnt got the attention it ahould. Bright colours....the tree will be challenging, but i do like a challenge.
I love this so much! Still working on it slowly but I will definitely be purchasing more when I’m finished with this one. I work on it slowly before bed every night, it helps me relax
This is a bright and happy kit, fun to paint. My only (very slight) disappointment is that the actual kit/pattern is not *quite* as detailed as the picture shown - the one shown has more detail in the doors and shutters, the lantern, and it outlines the door and parts on the car in black. As one of the reviews shows, the actual kit has less detail in those areas. It doesn't diminish the final look by much, it's just different from what is advertised. Without comparison, I wouldn't have known. (Also, a couple of the dark colors have a strange, almost "watercolor" texture/effect - the paint is not as thick/smooth/full-coverage as most of the others. I've noticed this in a few different kits, and I'm not sure how to mitigate it - it's not something that can be fixed with adding water or acrylic flow medium.)
The colours are great and the paint is easy to work with. It is exactly as the picture illustrates it to be, once complete.
Great painting! Opening the paint pots is a bit difficult and messy—they get dirty easily after a few uses and aren't very practical. Also I received more pots than I expected and was written on paper from some colours

I gifted it to my daughter so I haven’t heard how it went. Sorry I can’t give any feedback. I loved it though!

I have been working on my latest painting for many weeks as it is very fiddly with lots of tiny detailing. I am only about halfway through it but have already ordered 2 more paintings to do later on in the year. I am having difficulty in painting over the numbers when using lighter shades especially white. I have got the white acrylic paint marker but it still does not cover the numbers. Any suggestions would be welcome.

This was a very relaxing activity that helped me focus. I found myself completely immersed in the process and lost track of time.
The preview image was extremely helpful while painting. I often referred to it to ensure I was matching colors correctly, and it made the process much easier.
