This paint by numbers was a hit at our first book club meet up! Everything was included and packed well. Great value for money!
I really enjoyed this. It was easy to follow and came out great. I changed the background color to match my daughter’s room and they turned out great. They are the perfect size to put in the reading area of her room. I highly recommend and have already purchased several more.
We did this kit with my book club and it was so fun!
What a fun project paint night! Had friends over and we had snacks and all picked out a picture. Great quality paints, clear numbers and beautiful colours. We had a little trouble with some of the brushes but had spares here from other projects. I would definitely order from DIY Art Club again+ made for a great gathering and we all took ours home and hung up.
I brought the book paintings for my book club to do together as a fun activity and we all loved it!
Just finished the first one, loved painting this picture, it was very absorbing and looks much better than I thought it would look. I think there are far too many numbers on the large areas though. You only need one; taking a photo before you start was a great idea then you can keep track of the numbers if you paint over them. I would have liked a bigger picture of the finished paintings for reference purposes. This is the most effective painting by numbers I have done. Definitely not suitable for a beginner, you need to have handled brushes before to be able to achieve a framable piece of art.
I don’t like the new paint wells where the tops come off. Preferred the old flip caps. Just FYI
I bought these for a reading weekend for myself, daughter and friend. We loved the therapeutic side of doing them. It was a chance to relax and unwind. The only reason it's not 5 stars is I thought it would be very expensive if we hadn't already got 50% off in the sale as I would not say it was anything necessarily worth double the price. The post took a while so make sure you order at least 2 weeks before you need it. I also thought you would get proper canvas' as in pictures it looks like you would (but actually reading the script it is canvas to paint on...but not ready on a frame. We had to use clothes pegs to pin it flat after postage storage)
I was a little hesitant when first saw these but I did a lot of research and went these rather than paint by numbers from other companies. First of all, the care that went into the packaging was amazing. They actually packed them so the canvas was fully protected!! The brushes were okay, good for larger areas but not great for the thin areas or lining. We used other finer brushes for most of the painting. The paint dried pretty fast for how thick it is. I do wish the canvases were just a bit bigger to help with the smaller areas but over all I greatly enjoyed the process.
Really cute crafting activity. The paint brushes were of somewhat good quality, but overall super fun time.
Was a great girls night in. Good quality product. One suggestion, more paint. As we shared it between a group of us we all felt we had to be super careful to not use to much of each colour to not affect others pictures. Thanks for a good night
I bought these because I kept seeing ads and thought it would be a fun Christmas break activity. I did two my first weekend after the kit came! These are fun and easy and a nice break from tech.
Great canvas and drawings. Numbers clear to see. Hiding the numbers is a slight challenge. The only thing I do not like is that there is one set of paints for 6 paintings. My group had to share the colors and could not finish at home. It would be best to have a separate set of colors or each painter. Probably would not purchase again for a group.
Great little kit, not too time consuming or complicated. I love that it's not daunting like some of the larger paintings :-)
It was a lovely thing to do with my friends.
We had a fun evening painting together! Not everybody wanted to paint, but they had fun hanging out with us. I think the paintings turned out really nice. Definitely needed some touching up, but overall, very nice.
Small details are hard to paint. It was fun and each one took me just about an hour.
Great activity for book club! Only complaint was having to number the paints ourselves using stickers instead of having the four digit numbers on the paint.
It was well packaged and arrived fairly quickly and my daughter loves it, so easy to use.
The product inside the box was fine, but the box itself was crushed. I hated giving it as gift, but I didn’t have time to order another.
Only issue is I wish the numbers were a lighter print so they don't show through.

Once I got directions on how to proceed things are moving along nicely. I'm 73 and my hand will shake every now and then so the lines take me longer than I would like but it's a good exercise. Very glad I made this purchase.
So cute and great set for a beginner painter. The paints and brushes were good quality as well.
The kit is organized and put together well. I do wish there were some tips on where to start etc.. But overall it was a fun project.

Project not completed
I love the design of this set and was very pleased with the quality of the canvases and paints. I hosted a paint and sip event for my English teacher friends, and we were able to complete our paintings in an afternoon. Even those who'd never done a paint-by-number enjoyed it and were pleased with their results. Our only issue is that some of the paint colors differ significantly from the pictures (to the point that I sometimes traded them for paints I had from previous sets) and some of the details on the advertised images are not actually outlined on the canvas. I've done enough of these that I felt confident making adjustments myself, but a first timer may be more frustrated by these issues. I would still recommend the set for the price and quality of materials.
The kits and experience we held were well received. The paints could have come pre numbered instead of having to add stickers on.

The paintings were a super fun activity for book club! The only feedback we had was that the complexity of the different paintings differed a lot so while some people were done, others had more than half to do. Otherwise they’re gorgeous!
We loved these painting by numbers, as part of our afternoon get together. There were lots of little pots of paint, and the girls really enjoyed it! A little keepsake of the day
I love the canvas quality, the little paint brush pack and bundle of paints. Each one took me 1-2 days of dedicated time and they're so beautiful when finished. These have brought me much joy

Love this! I have finally found something other than reading that can quieten my mind and relax me. Only downside I have found is the brushes they are very good quality. There is always little long strands that make it hard to be precise when painting so mistakes get made.other then that I have really enjoyed doing these.
