I still need to do the 3rd covering but really enjoyed it!
Darker than what I expected, especially the lower portion of painting. Would be interested in suggestions to lighten up lower portion.
Paint quality is a bit hit or miss and colours differ from the advertised picture. Paint brushes are not the best quality either. For best results, I gave the canvas two coats of clear gesso before I started, used flow improver as needed and invested in some better and finer brushes.
This has been so therapeutic for me. I have been struggling with alot in my life and felt myself slipping into apathy. I used to paint many years ago and stopped when life got so busy. DIY Art gave me the courage to start back and be gentle on myself. I highly recommend anyone to try it! Thank you!
Painted for my new grandaughter whinis named Iris
Good quality paints, easy to follow drawing- with back up copy for second coats. Very pleased with mine.
I think it would look better if the canvas wasn’t coated first. Finding it difficult to blend the paints together.
I didnt understand the no frame. So need to have it framed up before painting. I bought this one as a gift for a friend and she was delighted with it.
I loved the painting and the time I spent working on it. I made it “my own” by tweaking a few things and blending the colors on some spots, and I’m really, really happy with it. I’ve since purchased a bunch more, including a custom image, and look forward to working on those pieces as well.
Arrived in great time
Really quick delivery! Everything looks excellent but unfortunately I havnt found the time yet to start painting 😬 Hopefully I’ll find the time soon 🤞🏼
Looks great, haven’t started it yet but looking forward to it!
lovely colours and paint thick enough to mostly cover the numbers. one thing that would be useful if the control sheet was the same size as the canvas
Nice painting to complete
Loved the colors and quality of kit!! Will definitely order from DIY again!
The attention to detail in the design made the completed painting feel special.
I enjoyed every stage of the process, from opening the kit to displaying the finished artwork.
The outlines remained visible throughout the project, which made the painting process smoother.
I appreciated that the colors remained rich and consistent as they dried.
It was satisfying to see how even small sections contributed to the overall image.
This project helped me slow down and focus on something creative for a change.
Friends who saw the finished result assumed I had far more artistic experience than I actually do.
